I know, it's been awhile

OK, I have been a bad little blogger. I could go into all the excuses why I haven't kept my site updated, but they would really just be excuses!

We have officially started finishing our basement! The plumbers were here last week and now we just need the inspector to come out and look at the job they did. I can't wait until the basement is finished! That means that my son will move downstairs to a HUGE bedroom and I will finally get a stamping room of my own!

Here is my card for today:

I had some scraps laying on my kitchen table from another project I was working on. I really didn't feel like cleaning up, so I stamped instead! I really like how this one turned out. I used Stampin' Write markers to get the two different colors for the flower stamp. I also went a little crazy with the paper piercing, but I find it so relaxing to pierce the paper! Notice how the scallops on are also pierced on the "Thanks" tag?

Photography

Well, I would have some projects to post, but I am having the darnest time photographing them! I even bought a fancy clip lamp, but it really isn't producing the right light. I am going to try to put a florescent bulb in it later and see if that helps.

If all else fails I can wait until tomorrow afternoon when I am home during the daylight hours and use the light of the window. It is really just a matter of experimenting to find out what I like the best!

Hello!

Ok, no pictures for today, just wanted to get on and say hi to everyone! I just started this blog today and am still playing with the layout and all - so don't be suprised if next time you visit things look a little different.

I also wanted to say I had a great time with my club ladies yesterday, what a great group! I know that we will have a great time over the course of the year getting together, sharing ideas and learning new things.
